Doug,
My aftermarket wheel is a Mota-Lita. The aftermarket horn button that came
with mine wouldnt activate the horn either. My solution was to bend down the
tab on the bottom of the button. This solved my problem. I am not specifically
familiar with the Mountney set-up so it is difficult to understand exactly what
your problem is. Maybe you can send a picture or post a pic on the web
somewhere? Also, forgive me if this sounds simplistic but the tab on the bottom
must line up with the plunger. I only mention it in the interest of covering
all possibilities.

Subject: [TR] TR6 Horn Contact
I purchased a Mountney brand steering wheel for my 74 TR6. The contact on the
horn button is different from the original and does not make contact with the
plunger. If anyone knows of a solution I would be most greatful for the
benefit of your knowledge. Thanks, Doug
