We carry both the VTR and officer's liability insurance. But what was your
club's decision (you mention determining factor but not what was
determined)? Thanks.

Hi Scott,

Who is your club's insurance carrier and does it cover untimed moving
events? That was our club's determining factor. Both the VTR chapter
policy and Hagerty's club insurance policy cover them, so no waiver is
required. Also, another thing to consider is whether or not your club has
officer's insurance. Again, both policies cover them.

Cheers,
Blake Discher

Subject: [Norton AntiSpam] [TR] Car Club Liability Waiver

At our board meeting tonight (Central PA Triumph Club), we had a discussion
regarding the merits of instituting a policy to have all participants in our
club's driving events sign a liability waiver before each drive. These are
not driving competitions, but rather fun drives we do almost every month
during the driving season. We thought it might be interesting to poll the
TR List to see what clubs out there are doing such a disclaimer and if they
are, has it caused any ill feelings with members.

TIA
