I checked McMaster Carr and they don't list anything for 5/16 to 3/8 but 
since 5/16 is 0.3125 and 3/8 is 0.375 perhaps the 5/16 can be stretched over a 
3/8 
fitting.  Or a hose clamp on the 3/8 hose will collapse it tightly onto a 
5/16 barb.

They show 5670K43 as a 3/8 to 1/2 in stainless.
