As is the case with all heaters, the biggest pita is the
access/removal. The 4's heater element is much better designed in that
it is self-flushing, but the hoses are these little, short, stubby
curvered things that are a difficult to access remove. Thus, if the
hoses are intact, then you can put an attachment on the firewall
connections inside the engine compartment and flush is. Access to the
fan is another story.
