I got my tank back on Friday. Acid dipped, cleaned, tested and 2 fittings
soldered in for $50. No other repairs were needed. Seemed reasonable to me.
He soldered instead of brazed as he likes solder better in a liquid
environment. Someone on the List also mentioned that.
I've ordered the sending unit gasket and new fiber washers for the screws
and wonder if I need to use any gasket sealant when I put it back together?
I also updated the TBI conversion section of my site to show the tank and
the fittings I'll be using.
