Over the summer one of our local club members past away. He had his 1971 TR6
interior somewhat disassembled when this happened. His widow asked the
club for help in getting it road worthy. A few of us turned out for a
"re-assemble party" last Saturday and managed to get most
everything installed and working, including re-installing the dash and all
the gauges. However we were short or could not find in the boxes some parts.
If someone could point me to a source for the items below I would be
grateful.
There are 2 warning lamps, brake and hazard flasher, that attach to the top
of the speedometer. Each plugs into the back of the speedometer with a 3
piece assembly, Moss #542-320. They are N/A in the parts book and we need 2.
We cleaned up and adjusted the reverse bulb holders but only got one to
work. Moss does have these so we'll be ordering #544-240.
The spring on the safety catch lever for the hood is missing and we'd prefer
not to replace the entire hood catch assembly, #802-275. Anyone have a
source or something we can pickup and modify?
Last is the driver side door checkstrap was un-installed and either he cut a
piece out of where it mounts or we are missing a plate of some kind that it
mounts to on the baffle not the door and I can't find it in the manual.
I probably have not described some of this too well. Please ask questions if
you're not sure of what I'm trying to describe.
