Well, sort of. You see, when I first read that manual, I was only 11 years
old. My dad was the one breaking in the new Herald 1200 convertible. He was
possibly the single least mechanically minded person I've ever known, but he
did
tend to follow such recommendations. And apparently it worked out ok, since
that Herald was a strong and willing little beast for a number of years!
