I am guessing you broke it at the engine? not at the distributor?
There is a gasket there between the pedestal and the block. But the pedestal
should fit flush with the block there.
If you broke it at the block, maybe there was something uneven there? If you
broke it at the distributer, how tight did you turn the nut?
Anyway, I might have a spare.. will have to look tomorrow. I will let you
know.
I dont think I have ever heard of this problem.
