For some reason, Ive already collected 3-4 fuel pumps although Ive yet to
run my TR3 three hours! I also have a merged collection of used and unused
parts to rebuild them with. (It might have been that long ago I wanted to
achieve success at rebuilding something and there-by give me some short term
gratification. But, this too has failed!)
QUESTION: The old diaphragms I took out had the rubber sandwiched between
two metal discs, the large disc on the top and the smaller disc on the
bottom along with the spring and drive activation link.
Only one of my unused diaphragms (from different brand of
rebuild kits) has the opposite arrangement of discs: small on top and large
on bottom w/ spring and link. I have no real reason to think it wont work
like unless someone knows that the one I have is meant for another car.
Could someone help me?
Thanks,
Paul Dorsey
