> Moving the whole lever on > its shaft towards the gearbox slightly resulted in the rod being centered > and the rod now drops back down when power is withdrawn. There is supposed to be a spacer in there, and the arm should be pressed tightly against the spacer. This puts some pressure on the O-rings that seal the shaft, helping them to seal.
