My 250 has black plastic snaps along the doors and for the three snaps
on each side of the top. Some have broken in the year that I've owned
the car, particularly since I've started using the tonneau with great
regularity. I was at a show at the start of summer where four other
250s showed up. All of the owners had changed to metal snaps, and had
done so on purpose -- in other words, they knew black snaps were
original, but decided to switch over to avoid breakage. I'm still
debating.
