Hi, just bought a '74 TR6 with 84,000 miles on it. When I got it, it was running cool but the plumbing was all wrong and the thermostat was missing. When I put it back together as it should be, it over heats badly, even blowing past the 13 pound cap. When it blows past the cap, the temp guage is not high at all. I'm guessing that the radiator is badly in need of rotting. Is there something common to TR6s that I might be missing? Thanks, Jim === This list supported in part by The Vintage Triumph Register === http://www.vtr.org |
