Just pulled off the windscreen frame for my TR6 for repainting. NAPA
recommended a 1/4 inch round butyl sealant tape for the glass channel in an
"old" style windshield frame. When I took the frame off it looked like there
was also some sealant on the pinchweld and under the gasket seal to the
body, though not very much. Is anything needed on the pinchweld or body and
if so what do I use?
This looked like the first time the windshield has been out and I was
pleased to find no rust on the frame under the seals, looked like new. The
paint had worn away to primer on the exposed outside of the frame.
