I'm sure this info is correct, as you took the time to look into it. At the
time my family was a Rootes Group,
Rover,Simca Dealer in Attleboro,MA "Lee's Foreign Cars 1948-1978". I
remember the Griffith Brochure and Poster on
the wall with the Scott in Kilts advertising the fastest Accelerating Car in
the world 0-60. This was when we were selling the Sunbeam Tiger II (late 67)
with the same base engine, but advertised at 200 bhp. The Car of note and
envy was the 271 HP car. Too bad the Engine Bay also took up most of the
passenger compartment.
I'm sure they handled nothing like their MGB engined counterpart.
