[TR] Smog exemption cut off in CA

How old does a car have to be to be exempt from being smogged in CA?



I read somewhere a few years back, that CA was going to exempt cars older
than 30 from being smoggged, but then that idea was canned and only cars
made before '73 are exempt.



Is this the case?
