List:
Well, I got no responses to my question to the list, "What makes a TR6 a
Talisman?". Either the list is pissed-off at me ( within the realm of
possibility) or nobody knows. I e-mailed Darryl Uprichard at Racetorations
and this is his response. I still don't know where the name Talisman comes
from.
>John,
>
>Some of the specification is unique to the Talisman, as follows;
>
>230 BHP fully mapped all steel triple Weber engine.
>Special instruments and bespoke built alloy crackle black dashboard.
>Redesigned front and rear to "update" to a more aggressive and youthful
>look. Maybe a matter of opinion. Most people polled approved of the new
>look.
>Side marker blu/white with s/steel teardrop escutcheon. and engine louvers
>on front wings.
>Doorlock escutcheon, teardrop in s/steel.
>Magnesium lightweight split rim 16" wheels.
>
>This in addition to top range specification on all units like gearbox,
>o/drive differential, limited slip, leather sports seats, mohair weather
>equipment, 12" vented drilled 12" discs, alfin alloy finned rear drums,
>fast road suspension, --- and so on.
>
>Hope that gives you some idea?

>Regards, Darryl.
