The "demister" vents are separate from the "eye-ball" vents, and have separate
ducts. The demister vents open right at the base of the windshield and supply
heated air (when the water and air controls are set appropriately). The
eye-ball vents are never heated, they only blow 'fresh' air.
It's actually a nice setup, IMO. I like being able to have cool air in my face
with warm air on my feet, especially on long trips.

The connections are shown pretty well in TRF's TR6 catalog, Vol II, Plate ET. I
know this is posted on the web somewhere, but I can't find it at the moment. So
