For starters (heh), inspect all your electrical connections from the battery to the solenoid to the starter, and then from the engine block to the ground strap to the battery. Disassemble, clean the contact surfaces with a wire brush until shiny, reassemble with good silver anti-seize (which is conductive). I would bet a nickel that this will fix the problem, or bring the actual problem (like a missing or broken ground strap) to light.
