All, On my TR3, the ground strap in question runs from the rear bolt on the left motor mount to the back of the bearer plate. It's attached to the bearer plate by the nut on the third bolt from the top. On later car the top two bolts on the bearer plate are longer than the bottom two in order to attach the lifting bracket.
