I may be wrong, but ISTR the GT6 used an odd ratio to drive the tach. Even if
not, your best bet will probably be one of the many aftermarket electronic tachs
and a speedo to match.
Any speed shop should have a selection : Autometer, VDO, Stewart-Warner ... you
can even buy new "Smiths" !

Note that many gauges supplied in a surface mount case can be removed from the
case & mounted in your original dash. Just be sure the mounting diameter
matches.
