Somewhere along the line, somebody misread the "TS" as a T5" and that's what
the vehicle title shows.
I inquired at the Virginia DMV (not an organization regaled for its
flexibility) about how I could go about "fixing" this mistake.

Too many years ago to admit to, I bought a used Triumph Herald. The
paperwork read G819033LCV, but the commission number was actually G_B_19033LCV.
At
that time (in New York), I submitted a pencil rubbing of the commission plate
and managed to get through to the DMV clerk with same. Don't know if that sort
of thing still works.... ;-)

*Mrs Irrelevant: Oh, is it a jet?
*Man: Well, no ... It's not so much of a jet, it's more your, er,
Triumph Herald engine with wings.
