Ed,
It is a TR3 manifold for TS engines before #8997E. The manifold for later
TR3 is 304164, the same manifold through TR4 (not TR4A). Sorry I can't
describe the diferences, I only have a PN reference manual.
Pete

I pulled an exhaust manifold out of a stack of what I thought were TR3 parts
and had it Jet Coated. When I tried to fit it to a TR3 intake manifold,
using
the two studs that pass through it from the intake manifold, the face of the
intake was not parallel to that of the exhaust. Tried it against the head,
just to make certain, and found that both manifold flanges would not mate to
the surface of the head simultaneously. They were no where near parallel.
Checked the catalogs and manuals and found no reference to a second type of
exhaust manifold for the TR3-4. By the way the exhaust manifold in question
has 3 studs for the front pipe, same as the TR3. The number on the mystery
casting is 301144. Can anyone out there identify this manifold's
application?

Thanks,

Ed Woods
