Hello. The leak in your brake "pressure sensor" sounds like you're talking
about the "brake differential pressure warning valve", the H-shaped brass
fitting under the master cylinder?
If so, it does not sense brake pressure. (if it did, the light would be on any
time you are not braking). It merely senses a difference in pressure between
the two brake circuits. There is a little shuttle inside that should stay
centered. If there's a pressure difference, the shuttle is pushed over, and
activates the warning switch.
there should not be any fluid under the switch. If there is, your seals are
worn, and you need to rebuild the whole valve, not just replace the switch. My
valve is currently at Apple Hydraulics for a complete rebuild, though I
understand there are kits available too. I've never had good luck rebuilding
hydraulics from kits though; perhaps the bores need to be honed or sleeved?
