The 2005 Southeast Regional VTR convention is being held at Jekyll Island,
GA in two weeks - September 29, 30 & October 1st. Many of you are planning
on attending and have made your reservations, but I suspect there are those
of you out there who are coming (yes, I'm talking about you Al S.) and might
have even reserved your room, but haven't yet made your VTR reservation.
Well, the time is rapidly approaching, and there are still a few rooms
available. However, for those of you who have been involved in planning
such a large event, you are well aware that the head count is very important
for food, trophies, and other activities. So, I'm asking you to please
finalize your plans so we can ensure that we put on the best event possible.
Event information including hotel and online registration can be found at
www.sevtr.org <http://www.sevtr.org/> . The regional clubs have banded
together this year to put this event on and have some great activities
planned for everyone, but I'll share one in particular with you. I had the
pleasure of hearing Lanky Foushee, of Group 44 fame, speak at the 6-Pack
TRials this past weekend in Little Switzerland, and I will say that hearing
him share some of the behind the scenes goings on during that exciting
period of Triumph racing fame is definitely something you don't want to
miss.
Thanks to everyone who has helped to organize this event, we are indebted to
you for your work so far, and we will be working hard over the next two
weeks to make sure you have a memorable weekend at Jekyll Island.
See you there,
R. Ashford Little II
