If you'll really only haul groceries, probably the jump seat isn't worth putting
in. But I've had several people ride on it (my daughter loved to ride back
there when she was younger), plus the family dog seemed to greatly enjoy it.
The seat also supported the ice chest much better than trying to put it on the
odd-shaped floor.
Not sure I understand your comment about "legal" ... what's illegal about having
someone ride in a factory seat ?
