TR6 head

Say, can anyone tell me what is bolted in front of the TR6 head? I should know
this, but I can't find it in the parts diagrams. They just show the fron of
the head with two openings and three bolt holes.

I have a rectangular piece in front closing off those openings and it is also
where the top alternator bracket is. What is it, and even better, what part of
the parts books is it in? I actually went through both of roadster factories
books and didn't see it.
