Ah, now if you are looking for spring numbers you can make due with the
complete Lucas equipment catalogue for that year.
For instance I have the 1961 Lucas catalogue (& a 1961 TR3A) and it has
a complete parts list for every Lucas distributor produced that year for
Alfa Romeo through Wolseley
For instance: 1961 TR3 distributor 40698B uses:
Fixing plate 421191, cap 418871, cap spring & bush 418856, rotor 400051,
point set 423153, condenser 423871, C.B base 422318, terminal bushing &
lead 54412750, ground lead 421088, distributor cam 424423, spring
advance set 54412549, weight 422353, distributor shaft 54410390, micro
adjusting nut 419087, vacuum control unit 54411480, bushing 421998, cap
spring clip 421824, drive gear 420620, sundry parts set 419644.
And you used to be able to purchase each part individually for a rebuild!
