I did not see any mention of tire roundness in the answers to the question. I had some wobble in the steering wheel in the TR6 and took it up to have them balanced. Because the car sets so much, two of the tires, (the front, I believe) had developed a flat spot. Wheels balanced and the front moved to the rear, resulted in a big improvement.
