Have used DOT5 for 5 years in the TR3A without any problems. Guess if I
eventually have a brake system problem I will be able to blame it on
DOT5 but so far so good.
BTW - this is with an old pressure switch... certainly more than 25
years old, possibly original. Perhaps newer ones/repros may be less hardy?
