Use a sealer. The spray type works well, especially between the gearbox and
bellhousing..

Hi all,
I am about to get the gearbox back, yeap I chickened out and a local gearhead
is replacing the 2nd/3rd gear circlip. I took off all of the pieces to make
the task easier, shifter, O/D etc. When I go an put it back together I see the
gaskets are paper. Should I install them dry or could it use a very thin
coating of gasket sealer to ensure a good seal? It seems when I took the
gearbox apart, it was seeping oil between the various joints.
Thanks
