I have a complete distributor that came off a TR4 or 4A with engine no.
CT24256_E. I was told this engine never ran correctly and so I bought it
for parts, but have wound up using most of it.
The distributor is a DM2 40698 and one like it is at:

I don't have any information as to how to tune it - or even if it is the
correct one for this engine. I am having this engine rebuilt at a machine
shop using 87 mm bore, stock cam, crank, intake, exhaust but (TR3A) SU H6
carbs.
Please bear with me as I plan to put up pictures of my project and offer up
all my extra goodies someday soon.
