dirty heavy oil

to the list, just purchased this car and after going thru a routine checkup i 
noticed the oil probably wasn't changed for the last hundred years. i did 
change the oil and the filter, but i would like to know is there a way to get 
the 
engine clean again. what do you guys suggest? happy july 4th.   larry
