Hi folks,
The real cure for "rounded" transmission/differential plugs
is a set of Sears Craftsman tools, that have "teeth". You fit the
proper one to your rounded plug (might have to smack it a time or
two) then use a breaker bar and socket (the tool has regular nut
faces),
the tool bites into the plug allowing its removal.
Once that plug is out, replace it with a new one, I think
Randall suggested a alternative to the original plugs, and while you
are at Sears get the proper 8 point socket to use. This really
works, Trust Me ... it worked on ALL of Rosey's very bad plugs ...
