Is this hot dip ( like a garbage can coating where you can see crystals) or
smooth like aluminized exhaust ( galvaneal )?
The hot dip stuff is too rough for finish body work but galvaneal works
great. It does need hit with a grinder to make nice welds though.
I weld the stuff but take breaks for air and have a good breeze going between
welds. With body work there is lots of weld, stop, refit then weld again so
exposure is minimal.
