Most of the larger air cooled stuff has a solenoid on the carb for fuel cutoff. Make sure you are getting 12V to the solenoid and have a good ground as well. You should hear the solenoid lightly click when the key is turned on. What brand/ model of engine? Did the problem occur during normal operation or was this engine been sitting for more that 6 months? Harold |
