Needs a hub that doesn't pivot so the cone can't flop around ... which means
there are a few RWD vehicles it probably shouldn't be used on.  I'd be leery
of putting it on an IRS Triumph, for example.

Yeah, could be done, I suppose.  Of course, you could stick your arm in a
hydraulic log splitter too, or miss the wedge when splitting with a maul &
wedge.  Or whack it off with a chainsaw ... or an ax.  Logging is not a
particularly safe job.

But if you watch the video, you'll see that the operator is careful to only
split at the end of logs long enough they can't fly around.  He doesn't hold
the log from spinning, the ground (and vehicle suspension) does.
