TR4 Oil Capacity

Thanks all, first about type of oil.  I had it changed in the '64 TR4, used
20W50 as recommended.  My question, why does a TR4 have a larger capacity for
oil, than later models?  I am sure there is a simple answer.  These little
items do bug me since where much of my recent ancestry, a high percentage were
master mechanics . . . unfortunately I did not inherit any of those genes, so
I just struggle with the basics.
