Mac's make infinite sense for internet computers.  No one has written any 
viruses for those yet and all the ISP software supports either platforms.  And 
there are plenty of spreadsheet and word processor programs for it as well.

But most engineering applications run only on Wintel platforms which means 
those of us in the business would need two computers.
