At last December's VDCA race at Roebling, the inspector asked us to turn on the engine and he flipped the switch. That's the first time anybody ever did that. Guess what? While all rest of the electrical systems shut off, the engine ran for a good thirty seconds until it stopped. Turned out that we had one wire (accidentally) on the "wrong" side of the switch. We quickly remedied the problem. I'm glad that particular inspector didn't just "take our word". Hugh Barber |
