I See there is a an alloy water pump housing listed for the TR6. That must cut
a fair bit of weight off the car. There are no comparative weights, but I
wonder what the difference is.

You might check with Ken at British Frame and Engine to see if he offers a
conversion specifically for TR6. I'm not familiar with the ATI unit you
mentione, but I'd be leary of anything not specifically matched to your car.

I don't see a TR6 dampener kit listed on his website. But, he's sending a
TR2/3/4 dampener to me right now.
