List,----I just got one of those connectors you get at the hardware store for 
connecting two "ALL THREAD" rods. tap one end for ,I think 5/16-28 and the 
other for whatever size the end of your slide hammer is. Screw it all together 
and yank it out without  damaging anything.  Bought my slide hammer at one of 
those grocery store bins for $1.29.Bob C  in KS
