Careful what you wish for...wasn't it one of the southern Kalifornia 
Republik cities that just passed an ordinance against clipping nails and
such  for
animals, without the animals consent?

and what is wrong with asking the animal for its consent? I asked my dog and
he consented, if fact he reminds me now each time he needs it. Frank he
says.......
