Don,

Your best bet is to contact the folks who made your cam and ask for their
recommendations for both compression ratio and valve springs. As a ballpark
figure, comparing it to the Triumph S-2 (282 dur, .405" lift), I would say
that your C.R. should be somewhere between 9.5 to 1 to 10-1 and that you
might need different valve springs. But that's just a guess. Any reputable
cam grinder should know his/her product well enough to give you good
information as to what you really should be running with their product. If
they don't know - walk away. You don't want to pay for their learning
curve.

Hi Hugh,

My TR250 cam will be 274 seat duration, .426 value lift with 1.55:1 Roller
Rockers, and 110.5 Lobe Separation. I already have the cam. I'm also using
Group 44 Falcon Headers. How can I get a feel for the maximum CR with 93
Octane pump gas? Do you have any ideas?

Thanks,

Don Malling
