60 TR3 clutch cross shaft

I received the gasket set as well as the front and rear seal for the tranny  
from Moss today. Ergo, tomorrows project will be to install them. As long as I 
 am there I believe I need to add to the existing bolt on the fork. Is it as  
simple as is indicated in : How to Improve the TR2-4A"? Just a matter of  
drilling a 5 mm ( or standard equivalant) hole and putting in a 5mm bolt and  
nyloc nut?
