Fran,
I purchased a set of Moss Side Curtains for my restored (but now sold) TR3
about 6 years ago. They are beautiful. However, they do not fit! I was
unable and/or unwilling to bend the brackets enough to make them fit. A
fellow club member had the same problem, but he was willing to spend more
time and energy on making them fit than I was. His fit perfectly and look
exactly as I remember them looking in the early '60s on brand new TR3s!!
I eventually rebuilt my original side curtains by 1st painting them with
vinyl paint to match (sort of!) the top and then replacing the Plexiglas
sliding windows bought from TRF and the rear fixed Plexiglas bought from a
plastics supplier. I hand sewed them into the frame using about 1/2 of the
original holes in the vinyl. I drilled holes through the Plexiglas with a
very small twist drill using my electric drill motor, it worked great! They
looked ok from about 20 feet away. However, they fit perfectly!
I have no info or opinion on the SunFast material.
Good luck and of course NFI and YMMV!

Subject: Side Curtains and Tonneau covers for TR3A
Am considering purchasing side curtains from Moss for my TR3A and was
wondering if anyone would comment on the quality. They are on sale right
now.
Also, was considering a tonneau cover. My wife says that Sun-fast is the way
to go over vinyl but the price is steep. Is Sun-Fast really worth over twice
the vinyl cost?
Thanks,
