Last Labor Day, I sent in my side curtains to be rebuilt at TRF. They
claimed 8 to 12 weeks and $569 rebuild cost. I needed side curtains for winter
driving in the snowy mountains here. For the Christmas Sale Catalog the
rebuilding service was reduced to $425. I called and with some heated
persueding got my price reduced because they were still rebuilding them. It
took some doing, they weren't going to lower their price.
It is now over 5 months since I sent them in and still no side curtains. I
think that they may wait until they have a lot of side curtains before they
rebuild them all at one time or something.
I am not real happy about the amount of time it is taking, but at least
they lowered the price. I've called and they claim that they are still working
on them.
Is anyone else having this situation? I'll probably get them back when the
good weather comes to the California mountain region again.
