Someone in this list installed one a few years ago, haven't heard since. Just by looking at the parts and not testing one, yes for short term it will provide some limited slip action. Long term it will wear out the diff housing and side gears. A real posi uses a cone clutch or a stack of 4 clutch plates per side. The Phantom grip has the effective power of 1 plate per side.
