Was reading a report today about a certain German convertible sports car that
was produced about the same years as the side screen TRs. I knew it all along
but we were not alone in some concerns for the report reads "The original
concerns about a top that seemed to let in more rain than it kept out and
heaters with output that resembled a hamster breathing hard after a session on
the wheel no longer matter, as these are sunny day only cars now"
No matter the brand of sports car we drove in the 50s and 60s, they all leaked
and I and my honey had to bundle up for a drive in the winter for the car was
cold and drafty but the lingering memories still bring a pleasant smile.
