A fellow in my local club just sold a TR3 that he said won a national
championship last June. He got
close to $30K for it from a guy in Denmark. The guy flew over stayed for a few
days and bought it.
Took seven years to restore it. It looked perfect to me. It was black with a
white top.
Getting to the point, it had a stainless exhaust and he said he didn't like the
note, and wished he
would have used mild steel. I never heard it. Just passing along his comment.
I'll probably use
stainless on my TR250 and TR6. Already have the stainless Falcon Group 44
headers.
