I've had OK luck with the Moss/TRF brush. I've got painted wires. Every wash I try to clean between the smaller spoke openings on one wheel. At a car show a few years back I got samples of strips of cloth impregnated with cleaner/polish to get into the impossible places on the spokes and rims. As I remember they were very expensive. I think low dusting brake pads are a great help, but in my experience nothing but elbow grease is going to get wires "show clean". Bob Rochlin "72 TR6 |
